We certainly had a different picture for our forever home, but when God spoke a promise about this house and land, it changed everything in 2018. Two weeks later, God’s generosity moved through my father and mother-in-law to gift us this house in exchange for what she put into it, and we are so grateful they followed that nudge. We certainly don’t deserve this house, and we are thankful for God’s provision and the willingness and generosity of Micah’s dad and stepmom to allow God to flow through them.
God’s generosity is never just for our own personal benefit. We know that God wants to flow through us and this place. We’ve been praying about the scripture for the house and land and felt God put this on our hearts.
Last week, we finished the sign for the house and absolutely love it! I’m so thankful for Micah, he helped me cut the wood, assisted in laying down the large transfer, and helped secure the frame. This is my first word transfer as opposed to normally transferring pictures onto wood. I also wasn’t sure how the paint was going to affect the transfer. Overall, I think it turned out perfect and I love that it’s something we worked on together.
Slowly, we’re adding little touches, unique to us, to this beautiful home. ❤️
My name is Kathryn Ball. I’m 34 years old, my husband Micah and I enjoy new experiences and learning from one another each day. We’ve been together for 14 years and married for 10 of them. My hope is to help women flourish with God by becoming rooted, established, and immovable in every season. I will be sharing my journey with miscarriage, stillbirth, and chronic illnesses, waiting on God to heal me completely, healing I have received from endometriosis, and my walk with God through it all.
In the waiting, I’ve learned that my love for God is not conditional to what He does or doesn’t do for me and that is what it means to flourish with God. To truly flourish with God, we must become rooted, established, and immovable in every season. My heart is geared to help those who may be struggling with their spirituality in the midst of a difficult season and for those who are struggling to return back to church after experiencing abuse, disappointment, or displacement.
This is a safe community for women to come and share their struggles, encourage each other, and ultimately have a deeper understanding and connection with God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. I also invite you to join this community on youtube at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC9x1-ZI1kIP9T4NXQ3ximBA.
